The problem we solved

We’ve all been there: the messy spreadsheets, the "who hasn’t sent their predictions yet?" texts, and the inevitable dispute over who actually picked the underdog in Week 4. During the Christmas of 2025, we decided that if we could automate the boring stuff, you could spend more time on what actually matters—the trash talk.

What is MundoPorra?

We are a pool competition platform built for friend groups, families, and coworkers. Whether it’s a regular Premier League season pool or a one-off FIFA World Cup event, you can play it with MundoPorra.

The three pillars of our pools

• Free: Anybody can play, no hidden costs. Pools and rules are the same for everybody.
• Simple management: Just sign up, create a pool or join an existing one, and start playing. We handle automated scoring, leaderboards, and reminders.
• Privacy: Your data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't track it, we don't use it for anything else but running the platform.

Who built this?

MundoPorra is just our hobby project, made for fun, and built mainly overnight or in the weekends.

There's no deny, we're lazy. We've organised many pools before, but we always ended up burning our eyes on a bunch of spreadsheets.

We decided to automate the boring stuff, and MundoPorra was born. We also wanted to upgrade our technical skills and learn new development languages and frameworks and this was a fun way of doing so.

And yes, we're the guys who always lose the World Cup pool.
